Synopsis:
Shade Doe has powers. Scary powers. She really wishes she understood them but she had no memory of her past or who she is. Living in abandoned buildings and doing what she needs to survive she is also helping some poor kids as best she can.
When she literally runs down a man in an alley after liberating some dinner for her and the kids she finds herself annoyed that she is unable to stop thinking about this charismatic, sexy handsome man.
Colin Larimore is a powerful vampire who has been around since the late 1800’s and can’t believe he cannot get one cheeky street person out of his head after she knocked him over on the street running away after probably committing some crime.
When the two of them finally give into fate, sparks fly and hot passion ensues. Their love creates a commanding force that cannot be contained. When circumstances align against them, they work together to save each other and to save an entire world.

My Opinion:

This series just gets better and better, the deeper you read. The first one I liked, but there were some things such as writing style that was off. In Divine Savior, I had no problem with any awkwardness. It seems Ms. Barton improves as she writes.

I could tell from the second chapter that Divine Savior was going to surpass Blood, Body, and Mind (first book in the series and it was awesome, make no mistake) and I was correct! The character's were more developed, the writing style wasn't awkward; I loved it!

Loves scenes were, again, awesome! Very sexy, scandalous, and of course, HOT!

I love how the book centers around family, not just the couple that the romance is focusing on. While it's definitely not family-friendly (duh!) it IS family oriented. Meaning, that the characters are really close to their family. So close, they pretty much live with them.

The Aaron's Kiss series is very original, I've never read anything like it. While it has vampires, fae, all the normal paranormal creatures, all the in-human creatures have their own unique spin that only Ms. Barton has ever written. That's what I call a great vampire love story! I don't know how people come up with this stuff.

I adore Sarah's protectiveness. She's so funny and delightful when she is trying to keep her family safe; she's so darned cute!

This was altogether a fantabulous read!

Recommendations??

Hot sex lovers, vampire groupies, women who love giant, sexy men. Which means: Every woman would enjoy reading this series, I sure loved it! Check it out for yourself, if you don't believe me.
