My Opinion:
          We all love a romance that begins with the geeky girl meets a handsome, fashionable man that pulls her in to his web of awesomeness and turns her in to Miss Sexy and helps her gain confidence and they fall in love and happily-ever-after. Well, Gentlemen Prefer Nerds is Maddie's similar fairy tale with a fun twist.
          I LOVED this novel for it's corny, hilarious but addicting plot that kept me vividly flipping (electronic) pages. I was so obsessed with finding out what Fabian's secret is and who the heck C was that I forgot everything around me in the real world. I didn't notice noises or pain (I was sick when reading this), it kept me entertained up in until the last word.
          Joan has an astounding way with words that makes it so easy to imagine myself right there with Maddie and Fabien on their hunt for the missing pink diamond. I loved the plot twist at the end (you know I always like a surprise) that had me very very impressed. I think the best part of Gentlemen Prefer Nerds is that even though the plot isn't very realistic, Kilby took an almost over used idea and created it into something new and exciting that anybody could would love to read.

Recommendations?
          I'd recommend Gentlemen Prefer Nerds to those of us romance lovers who love a gooey love story along with a great laugh and a fun mystery. Now, it's not out yet, but it can be per-ordered on Amazon.

Considering Kate-Nora Roberts

          As a novel in the Stanislaskis series, Considering Kate was a very exciting addition and was definitely not a disappointment. Semi-retired ballerina Kate Stanislaki decided it was finally time to retire after traveling all over the world; she returns home and buys the old house she always dreamed of in the hopes of turning it into a ballet studio. Soon after returning, she meets single father Brody O'Connell and falls madly into lust.
          Put off by Kate's aggressive flirting, Brody strives to ignore the fizzling attraction between them. Obviously (since this is a romance novel) he fails to do so, and they end up having sex, leaving Kate wondering where they stand with on another. Brody continues to make it known he considers their relationship a small thing,  but Kate is determined to when him over. She didn't become a professional ballerina by giving up. Will she convince Brody that they are meant for each other? Check out the book and see for yourself!
          Nora Roberts has never written a bad book, so I always encourage a reader to pick up either a new Roberts book, or any of the old ones. Considering Kate is a semi-new book, but is a must read to all Roberts fans, or just anyone that loves a good, contemporary romances to fall in love with (a little romance humor, har har).
          With over 200 written novels, Nora continues to wow romance lovers across the world. She was even the first to be inducted into Romance Writers Of America Hall of Fame, so believe me when I tell you that she will not disappoint you. Its a known fact that Janet Dailey (the It romance writer before Nora Roberts) plagiarized Robert's work Sweet Revenge and more unknown works back in 1997. If a  great writer like Janet Dailey had to resort to stealing in order to compete with Nora Robert, you should be able to realize how great an artist she is with a romance.

Tempted-Lori Foster

          Lori Foster is a master at writing a good, contemporary romance based on situations that could happen to any real person. Not to say that her books are boring or unoriginal. Lori writes a fascinating love story that sinks its claw into you and won't let go until you've read the entire book.

          Tempted is a three-in-one novel. It centers around the Sawyer family starting from Daniel Sawyer; the oldest, then moves on Annie; the youngest, and ends with Max.

          The first story, "Little Miss Innocent?," is about sex therapist and best friend to Annie, Lace McGee and the doctor and head of the Sawyer children, Daniel. Daniel always disapproved of Lace and Annie's  friendship; he thought that Lace was too outrageous, outspoken and her behavior was rubbing off on Annie. Until one night when Daniel was leaving the ER, Lace straggles in with a serious dog bite, everything starts to change. While Daniel helps her throughout the healing process, they become closer and attraction builds. Can they get over their differences?

          In Annie's story, "Annie, Get Your Guy," she is so over Guy Donovan ignoring the attraction between them. She asks Lace to help her seduce him, and when he gets in a car accident, she realizes that taking him to the Sawyer cabin to heal is the perfect way to get him alone.

          "Messing Around with Max" is the story of how Max helps Maddie Montgomery become more experienced after her ex-fiance cheats on her in a rather risque way. As there affair goes on Max realizes he is head over heals with Maddie, now he just has to find a way to rid her of her fear of love and relationships.

           Lori Foster tempts you with romance, and steamy love scenes in Tempted as she spins a tail that promises readers a fun and uplifting novel sure to make you wish you had a Sawyer of your own!
