Want Me--Jo Leigh

Publishing Date: April 1, 2012
Genre: BLAZE/Erotic/Contemporary Romance
Series: It's Trading Men!
List Price: $5.25
Star Rating: 5 out of 5
Sensuality Rating: R

Synopsis:

Trading Card: Nate Brenner
Occupation: Humanitarian architect.
Marry, date or one-night stand: Definitely a one-night stand!
His secret passion: Travel. Making a difference. And redheads.
Warning: Don't be fooled by his sweet hotness. This is not a guy who settles down.
Bottom line: Gorgeous, good soul…and he can melt the panties right off a girl!

Shannon Fitzgerald created the New York Hot Guys Trading Cards—a private "man swap" for her single friends. Still, she has yet to find the "perfect card"…until she sees Nate Brenner for the first time in years. He's hot. He's tasty. And now Shannon wants him all for herself.

Unfortunately, the Nate Brenner card is in another girl's hands. Now Shannon is torn between accepting the hand she was dealt, or making a play for sexy Nate—and losing the clothes off her back, one tantalizing item at a time!

My Opinion:
Want me has attracted me from the get-go! Just the cover leaves a girl panting. When I started the novel, I new it would be good, and I definitely was not disappointed. Just the idea of having trading cards of men is fabulous!
What also attracted me was how throughout the entire plot, I was mesmerized by the creative way Jo Leigh strings words together. She writes vivid scenes that I can picture as if I were in the room with the characters, and isn't that what every reader wants? To be able to imagine themselves into the plot? Duh.
I also adore the idea of Shannon having four older brothers that are protective and still think of her as a child, but when best friend Nate comes back in the picture and helps them to realize uh, hello, it's been years since she's been a child. That endears Nate to me. The affectionate the family feels toward each other makes me feel warm inside
I love that all the main characters are very personable and easy to like. I can't stand it when the protagonists are annoying. It totally turns me off.  Jo Leigh has made characters that I wish I could meet. I want to be best friends with Shannon (or Shannon herself) and I want all her brothers to be mine. I definitely have fantasies of Nate falling in love with me.
The plot was so unique, I've never read anything like it, and trust me, I've read a LOT of books. There is an eloquent simplicity to her descriptions that me feel like the Fitzgerald clan are real people.
And, of course, the love scenes are to die for!

Recommendations?
This book is recommended to all romance lovers of all generations. Anyone who likes a fun book to chase away the cold on a rainy day or just needs a book to open up and read on their lunch break!
