A Kiss in the Wind **Jennifer Bray-Weber**

Publication Date: March 26, 2012
Genre: Historical/Erotic Romance/Adventure
Series: Romancing the Pirate
List Price: $4.79
Sensuality Rating: R
Stars: 4.5/5

Synopsis:

Marisol Castellan is in trouble--again. Against her pirate father's orders, she snuck off their ship to intercept a message meant for a rival captain, one that offers a clue to the whereabouts of her estranged brother Monte.
Pirate captain Blade Tyburn is not pleased to find the letter he's been waiting for is missing. He's even less pleased when he discovers the thief is a raven-haired beauty who bewitches his senses and muddles his thinking. The note gives the location of a silver-laden ship that'll make his fortune; Blade must find it, and if that means bringing Marisol along on the voyage, so be it.
Marisol believes Monte sails on the very ship Blade is to meet and strikes a deal with the handsome rogue. If he will give her passage to her brother, she will give him the exact location he needs. And both will get more than they expected...

My Opinion:

I have one thing to say about Captain Blade Tyburn: YUMMY! Bedroom, emerald eyes, blond hair, sexy masculinity (VERY SEXY). Our unusually named Blade should make you want to dig into this novel, if nothing else does.

One of my most favorite things about this novel is of course the pirates! Ever since Johnny Depp played hottie (crazy too) Captain Jack Sparrow, I eat up any pirate romance novel I can get my hands on! Blade is no disappointment either in the hotness factor. He is definitely the icing on the cake!

My favorite character in this novel is Henri (or is it Henry? Not sure..). He may be a drunkard that does not like sharing his booze, but he is a funny old man that helps Marisol out once or twice.

There is one scene that I play over and over in my head. The time that Marisol and Blade eat a private dinner in Blade's room, and they are arousing each other with their food...priceless! I laughed through the whole thing. That may not be the emotion Ms. Bray-Weber was looking for, but that's what it did for me. I'm nothing if not honest. And I can honestly say this was the most unique and spectacular pirate romance I have ever had the pleasure to read. I've read a bunch, if your wondering.

Recommendations??

If you love hot sex, pirate adventures, and lots of fast-paced action, then you will LOVE A Kiss in the Wind. I can almost guarantee any historical fan would adore this book. I sure did!
