Genre: Paranormal/Mystery/Suspense/Gay and Lesbian
Series: N/A
List Price: $5.38
Sensuality Rating: NC-17

Synopsis:
It’s nine o’clock the morning after his father’s funeral, and Ezra Jones already knows it’s going to be a bad day. He wakes up hungover, sore, and covered in blood. Then it gets worse: the handsome and compelling Callum Dawson shows up on his doorstep claiming Ezra’s been turned into a werewolf. Ezra wants to be skeptical, but the evidence is hard to ignore.

Ezra doesn’t have a lot of time to get used to the rules Alpha Callum imposes—or the way his body responds to Callum’s dominance—as he’s busily working for the CDC to help uncover the origins of a lycan epidemic. When the sexual tension finally breaks, Ezra barely has time to enjoy it, because a new danger threatens. Someone wants Ezra for their own unscrupulous purposes and will do anything to get him.

My Opinion:

Callum. Ezra. Hot! I liked Callum because of the way he's the sexy, Alpha (in more ways than one) who can't help to protect every Beta out there. I adore Ezra for his dry, sarcastic wit that makes me laugh so much. I laughed all the way through this novel.

While Callum and Ezra are super adorable, my favorite character in Hair of the Dog is Jax, the other Alpha in the pack. She's funny, a little crazy, and a lot of fun. I hope Ms. Kane and Ms. James write her book next.

I was very surprised when I found out the "Lycan disease pandemic" was none other than a jerk forcing Betas into taking shots that made them insane. As the plot thickens, it is easy to see how creative and original each of them is. Thanks for an awesome read!

Throughout the book, I saw Ezra uses a TON of allusions. Allusions are references to the outside world, such as when he talked about Cosco, Hydra, etc. Not that it's very important, but it was fascinating to read, because it reminded me of the very popular romance writer, J.D Ward.

There was a lot of scandalous, dirty, sex! It was all very hot, and very addicting. But, you know what, my favorite scene in the story wasn't a sex scene. It was Ezra's first change, when he and Callum turned into wolves and went outside to play. Loved it! It was adorable and fun.

Recommendations??

Paranormal lovers would enjoy this, if you don't mind the gay romance aspect. I, personally really enjoyed Hair of the Dog, but you might think differently.
